• Part-time, Full-time Fetchers is a dog Boarding, Daycare, and Grooming facility located just off of 32nd Ave S on 39th st S in Fargo.

Fetchers is unique to Fargo in that it has large fenced-in outdoor play areas where dogs can run, play, and socialize together. There is also an indoor play area to accommodate all types of dogs and weather conditions. Fetchers is a very active and social kennel. Any and all dogs looking for a playful environment to romp and interact with other dogs are welcome. Fetchers is a new branch off of Prairie Peak Kennels, a current dog boarding kennel located North of Alexandria, MN. Fetchers is looking for a driven, friendly, active, and hard-working dog handler to provide direct care to dogs. Candidate must be able to handle large groups of dogs and everyday maintenance that it takes to care for them. Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, have great teamwork skills, excellent time management skills, a mulit-tasker, reliable and responsible, and have a love for dogs. The dog handler will be responsible for: Caring for and supervising dog play groups Handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments Maintaining a safe environment for dogs at all times Feeding and administering meds to dogs Performs nail trims and bathing services Ensuring every dog under their care is fully controlled and supervised Displays occasional assertiveness while consistently seeking opportunities to grow and enhance their abilities Takes responsibility for the health, exercise, care, and cleanliness of all dogs under their supervision Maintains the cleanliness of the facility Manages their time effectively to ensure the dog schedule, cleaning, and bathing are all completed on time Proactively takes initiative, always stepping up to get things done when needed Fetchers will be operating Monday-Friday 6:30am

• 7pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm.

Position will require minimum of 18 hours per week, including at least one weekend shift per month and two holiday shifts per year. This is a year-round, long-term position (minimum commitment of 1 year). We are not hiring for seasonal or temporary roles. Professional dog handling experience is not required.
