Responsibilities Supervise dogs during playtime, rest periods, and mealtimes to promote safe socialization and prevent conflicts Monitor dog behavior closely, intervening with gentle animal handling and restraint techniques as needed to ensure safety Assist with basic dog training exercises to encourage good manners and obedience Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play zones, and grooming stations Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health status, and daily activities Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with larger dogs Strong animal restraint skills to ensure safety during play and care routines Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and visitors Previous kennel or veterinary assistant experience is advantageous but not required Must be comfortable working in a lively environment that involves active physical work and outdoor activities Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
