Job Description
Our locally owned pet store is looking to add the right person to our growing dog training team! Our training team is led by a certified animal behaviorist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She has personally created a positive reinforcement based program that includes everything from puppy recess to work on socialization skills, basic obedience, canine good citizen certification, agility, scent work, showring training, service dog training and more! We offer group classes, private lessons and in-home training as well. The program includes online booking for training sessions, a private dog training room, and even a fenced in outside area. Are you the right person to fill this spot? The right candidate(s) will be a self-motivated, energetic, team player that wants to make a positive difference in a pet and pet parents' life. A standard schedule is to be expected including some nights, weekends and holidays. We are looking for an experienced dog trainer, but we are willing to train the right person. We strive for a healthy and fun work environment and are looking for the right fit for that team atmosphere.
