Group Leaders are responsible for the entertainment and safety of the dogs they look after in a group setting, as well as the cleanliness of the facility. Successful Group Leaders are authentically interested understanding canine behavior and communication. A Group Leader must be extremely alert, responsible, hard-working, and able to be active on their feet for 6+ hours. Many opportunities for growth are available beyond this entry level position. Group Leader Responsibilities Animal Management Learn and apply animal management techniques Manage the safety, entertainment, and well-being of assigned dog group Learn names and behaviors of all dogs in assigned group Clean up after dogs Daily Cleaning/Procedural Tasks Clean playrooms, yards, and kennels (mopping, sweeping, scrubbing) •Must be 18 years or older •AM shift is 6:25am - 1:00pm and PM shift is 12:50pm to 7:30pm. Must be available for 4-6 shifts/week including 1 shift per weekend. Due to the nature of our business, our busiest times are often weekends, holidays, and the summer months. Availability during these times is critical to our ability to provide safe and quality care to our guests.
