In this role, you will deliver personalized training programs tailored to each dog's unique needs in the owners home or other agreed upon location. Emphasis is on fostering positive behavior and strengthening the human-animal bond. Your energetic approach and dedication will help clients achieve their training goals while ensuring the well-being and safety of every dog you work with. Duties Conduct private, in-home dog training sessions Work with dogs of all ages and life stages (puppy through adult) Address common behavior challenges including: Jumping Mouthing Leash pulling Recall Impulse control Basic obedience Mild to moderate behavior concerns Develop customized training plans for each client Provide clear coaching and homework for owners Maintain professional communication with clients Document session notes and progress Experience Prior dog training experience (professional or extensive hands-on experience) Strong knowledge of positive reinforcement training methods Understanding of canine body language and behavior Experience with: Puppy training and socialization Basic obedience Leash training Impulse control Reactivity or fear-based behaviors (preferred) Ability to confidently coach and educate pet owners Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, reliable, and self-motivated Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes Prior experience working with animals in settings such as kennels, shelters, or pet care facilities is a bonus Join us to empower dogs and their owners through positive reinforcement training while enjoying a rewarding career dedicated to animal well-being!
