Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and handling, ensuring the well-being of pets in our facility. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional care to animals. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, managing, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal enclosures and common areas. Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to leaders. Support pet owners with information on pet care and services offered. Participate in shadowing sessions for animal handling techniques and safety protocols. Skills Experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred. Proficiency in dog handling techniques and understanding of animal behavior. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare. Reliability in showing up to your shift is a must!
