Dog Daycare Attendant Las Vegas, NV 89130 $14 an hour - Full-time $14 an hour - Full-time At Tails Pet Resort, we are looking for a passionate, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety, happiness, and overall well-being of our guests throughout their stay. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a fun and positive experience for both dogs and pet parents. Responsibilities Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs in daycare play yards. Monitor dog behavior and group dynamics to help maintain a safe and structured environment. Engage dogs in play and enrichment activities while encouraging positive social interactions. Observe and report any changes in behavior, appetite, health, or energy levels to management. Follow proper dog introduction and handling procedures at all times. Administer medications and follow feeding instructions accurately when required. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including play yards, suites, bowls, and common areas. Complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards. Document attendance, feeding, medications, incidents, and daily notes accurately. Assist pet parents by answering questions and providing excellent customer service. Work closely with the team to maintain smooth operations and a positive work environment. Participate in ongoing training related to dog behavior, safety, handling, and company procedures. Qualifications Genuine love for dogs and passion for animal care. Previous experience in dog daycare, boarding, kennel, veterinary, or animal care environments preferred. Basic understanding of dog behavior, body language, and safe group play management. Ability to safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both team members and pet parents. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting dogs or equipment up to 50 pounds.
