Kennel Technician

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kennel Tech to join our team on a part-time basis in Las Vegas, NV.

• Job Overview:

• As a Kennel Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our canine guests. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, feeding and exercising the dogs, administering medications as needed, and providing them with love and attention during their stay with us.

• Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common areas regularly Feed and water dogs according to their specific dietary needs Exercise and play with dogs in a safe and controlled manner Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary staff Monitor the behavior and health of all dogs in your care Provide grooming services such as bathing and brushing when necessary Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pet's well-being Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals •

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment MUST be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed The pay for this position is $12/hour.
