Kennel Technician -
Dog Training & Canine Wellness Company Opening:
We are a fast-growing, scaling dog training and canine wellness company based in Las Vegas (89113). We are currently home-based and expanding, with plans to move into a dedicated facility within the next 12-15 months . We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Kennel Technician to support daily care, cleaning, and structure for our dogs. This is a fast-paced, physically active role — not a passive "play with dogs" job. This role is for you if: You are reliable and show up on time, every time You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment You can follow structure and directions without constant supervision You are proactive and notice what needs to be done You are calm and respectful around dogs of all temperaments You are emotionally steady and don't bring chaos into the environment This role is NOT for you if: You call out frequently or struggle with consistency You move slowly or avoid physical work You need constant direction or reminders You get overwhelmed easily You think this is just "playing with dogs"
Responsibilities:
Cleaning kennels, yards, crates, and common areas Feeding, watering, and medicating dogs (as directed) Assisting with dog rotations and structured movement Supporting training team with basic handling Laundry, dishes, trash, and overall facility upkeep Monitoring dogs for behavior, health, and safety Maintaining a clean, calm, and structured environment KPIs (What success looks like): Clean, organized, and safe environment Dogs are properly cared for and on schedule Tasks completed without being asked repeatedly Reliable attendance and punctuality
Compensation:
$13-$15/hour (based on experience) Opportunity for raises based on performance and reliability Part-time to start (approx. 15-25 hours/week) Growth into full-time and higher responsibility roles as the company expands
Growth Path:
Kennel Tech → Lead Tech → Assistant Trainer → Trainer (for the right candidate)

Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
