Dog Daycare Attendant Part time

Available Shifts:

We are looking to split these shifts between 2 part time employees:

Morning Shifts Monday & Thursday :

5:45 AM

• 2:00

PM Afternoon Shifts Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday:

availability between 12-8pm Weekends availability Saturday 7:45 am

• 6 pm Sunday 8:30 am

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in the daycare facility
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
• Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including fetch, tug-of-war, and other interactive games
• Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing
• Clean and sanitize dog kennels, play areas, and common areas
• Administer medications or treatments to dogs as instructed by their owners or veterinarians
• Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and any incidents that occur
• Dog feeding
• Taking pictures of dogs and sending to owner throughout the day.
• Checking dogs in and out in the system
• Collecting money
• Do meet and greets with new clients

Requirements:

• Must have a genuine love for dogs and a strong desire to work with them
• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred but not required
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners and address their concerns or questions
• Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members Please note that this position may require working on weekends or holidays, as dog daycare services are often needed during these times.
