Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant, where your passion for animals and energetic personality will shine! In this dynamic role, you will be the primary caregiver and playmate for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring they enjoy a safe, fun, and enriching environment. Your dedication will help foster happy, healthy pets while providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career in pet care. Duties Supervise and engage dogs during playtime, ensuring a safe and positive experience for all pets Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Handle dogs using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during interactions and grooming Monitor dog health and behavior, noting any signs of distress or illness, and communicate with veterinary professionals as needed Perform pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming to maintain cleanliness and comfort Provide excellent customer service by updating pet owners on their pets' activities and well-being throughout the day Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, kennel work, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary assistant roles is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with larger dogs Strong animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods while maintaining high energy levels Embark on a fulfilling journey where your enthusiasm for animals makes a real difference! Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
