Full Time Dog Daycare Attendant We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dog Daycare Attendant to join our grooming team! As a Daycare Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our furry clients are kept clean, safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with animals and enjoy a hands-on role in pet care. Candidates must be flexible to work all shifts: days, evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a year round position. All candidates must be 18 years or older. NO seasonal applicants. College students applying must be willing to continue employment after school sessions begin. High School students will not be considered.

What you'll do: Provide attentive, hands-on supervision of dogs in small, curated playgroups to ensure a safe and positive environment Assess dog behavior and energy levels to appropriately group and manage play Deliver a high level of care and engagement, including enrichment activities and structured playtime Maintain a pristine, spa-like facility through continuous cleaning and sanitization of all daycare and common areas Monitor each dog's health, behavior, and overall well-being, promptly reporting any concerns to management Follow individualized care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and special handling needs Support front-of-house operations, including assisting with client check-in/check-out and providing a welcoming, professional experience Communicate effectively with pet parents when needed, offering updates on their dog's day Ensure all dogs are comfortable, hydrated, and stress-free throughout their stay Adhere to all safety standards, handling protocols, and company policies Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a calm, organized, and elevated daycare experience

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, or grooming environment preferred Strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and safe group play management Ability to confidently handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 40+ lbs) High attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization Reliable, punctual, and able to follow structured routines and protocols Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team Professional, client-focused demeanor with a passion for providing elevated pet care Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly in emergency situations Willingness to learn and take direction, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude This is a fast paced environment.
