Responsibilities Safely handle and restrain dogs of various sizes and temperaments to ensure their safety and comfort. Provide daily care routines including feeding, administering medications, and cleaning kennels to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Monitor pets' behavior, health, and well-being, alerting management to any concerns or unusual symptoms. Assist with dog training activities by reinforcing basic commands and socialization techniques. Engage pets in enrichment activities and playtime to promote mental stimulation and physical exercise. Maintain detailed records of pet care activities, behavioral observations, and any incidents that occur during shifts. Support pet owners by providing updates on their pets' status and answering questions about care routines. Requirements Prior experience with dog handling, pet grooming, or veterinary assistance is highly desirable. Knowledge of pet care procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move kennels or supplies safely. Experience in animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. A genuine love for animals combined with a responsible attitude towards their safety and well-being. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or varied shifts as needed. Pay:
