JOB DESCRIPTION
+ Conducts on going individual and or/ small group skills training for new DAR staff members, conducts continuing education for DAR staff member, provides skills practice for Emory research staff, maintains required training activity records and certification registries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ High school diploma with four years of related laboratory animal experience and LAT certification + OR two years of veterinary technical training from a college or university or an associate degree in a related field, and four years of related experience with a minimum of two years in a laboratory animal setting + OR bachelor's degree in a related field and one year experience in a laboratory animal setting. + AALAS certifications and/or degrees in teaching or biological sciences are preferred.
NOTE:
Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
