• Temporary, Part-time, Seasonal Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care and exercise for dogs of various breeds and sizes. This role involves walking dogs in various environments, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness while fostering a positive relationship with both the pets and their owners. Ideal candidates will need to have a flexible schedule. Duties Walk dogs in a safe and controlled manner, ensuring they receive adequate exercise. Monitor the behavior and health of animals, reporting any concerns to the owner. Provide basic training commands as needed to reinforce good behavior during walks. Maintain a clean environment by picking up after dogs and disposing of waste properly. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and any observations made during walks. Handle multiple dogs at once when required, ensuring all pets are safe and well-managed. Assist with additional pet care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication. Experience Preferred candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Animal handling or care, including dog training or pet grooming. Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant. Skills in animal restraint or equine care are advantageous but not required. Previous roles in pet sitting or dog handling will be considered a plus.
