In this energetic role, you will ensure the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of pets in our facility while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment where animals feel safe, loved, and cared for every day. Duties Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable kennels and common areas for animals. Assist with pet feeding, administering medications, and providing basic pet care routines. Answering phone calls, checking clients in and out. Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques, ensuring their safety and comfort during daycare and boarding. Support dog training activities by reinforcing commands and socialization efforts under supervision. Provide boarding and daycare services for clients, ensuring pets are engaged, exercised, and monitored throughout their stay. Assist grooming staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic grooming assistance tasks as needed. Respond promptly to pet owner inquiries with friendly, professional customer service. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with large dogs or equipment. Requirements Prior experience in animal handling, kennel work, or pet care is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Ability to handle animals safely and calmly using proper methods. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and their pets. Willingness to perform physical tasks or lifting heavy objects or animals regularly. Being a team player and multi-tasker is a must. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
