Job Description

Job Overview We are looking to add to our currently awesome team! We are looking for someone who is caring, detail-oriented, and loves people as much as animals. This position involves working with dogs in play groups, feeding and medicating, bathing, along with cleaning the facility. The shifts are 6:30am-1pm and/or 2-8pm. You must be available on weekends and holidays (including school breaks) to be considered for this position. We are looking for someone with open availability. This is an opportunity to work closely with dogs while developing valuable skills in dog handling and pet care. Responsibilities Provide attentive dog handling and care, ensuring each dog's safety and well-being during their stay Clean and disinfect kennels and common areas to uphold hygiene standards Feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Grooming such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming Engage in basic dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization among other dogs Skills Strong dog handling skills with a focus on safety for both pets and staff Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with dog owners and team members The right candidate can work well alone and stay on task but can also work well with a team. Familiarity with animal care protocols, including medication administration Must be comfortable working with and handling dogs of all sizes Experience is not necessary, we will train the right person. We are looking for genuinely nice people that love people and dogs.
