This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional care for our daycare and boarding dogs while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. If you enjoy working with dogs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong customer service skills, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Supervise, interact with, and play with dogs in daycare and boarding programs Monitor dog behavior and ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care Feed dogs according to individual care instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, rooms, and facility common areas Pick up and properly dispose of pet waste throughout the facility Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns Assist with dog boarding check-ins and check-outs Provide friendly, professional face-to-face customer service to pet owners Support team members and jump in wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications Previous experience working with dogs is required (boarding, daycare, veterinary, grooming, shelter, or similar experience preferred) Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments Strong attention to detail and commitment to pet safety Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Flexible availability, including weekends,holidays and being called in as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the workday What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs and animal care Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player who is willing to help wherever needed Ability to stay calm and focused in busy situations Professional and friendly demeanor with clients and coworkers
