Summer Camp Nurse

Job Overview:

We are NJ Camp Jaycee, a residential summer camp for Adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our campers participate in a recreational overnight program, taking part in sports, swimming, boating, arts and crafts, dance, sensory and nature. It is a magnificent environment. We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our Infirmary Team. We Arte looking for Nursing Students, fully Qualified Nurses and EMT's. As a Camp Counsellor, you will play a vital role in our Infirmary reaching, conting and administering medication safely to our campers so we can continue to create a fun and safe environment for camper to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. This is a paid position.

• this is a hourly position, we are also open to live in Nurses and EMT if this is something you are looking for
• Summer dates: June 11th till June 10th (Training week) June 21st till August 15th (Camper weeks)

Duties:

• Receive, count and check all medication on paperwork on check in days
• Complete meds pas 5 times a day
• Attend for the needs of the campers and staff visiting the infirmary
• Handle communication with parents when needed
• Provide guidance and support to campers and staff
• Collaborate with other Infirmary staff to create a positive camp experience

Experience:

(Not Essential)

• Experience working with students or adults/children in an educational summer camp setting
• Knowledge of summer camp environment Please not applicants need to be over the age 18years.
