The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and barbering, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. This role offers opportunities for creative expression, skill development, and building lasting client relationships in a professional environment dedicated to beauty and wellness. Duties Perform a variety of hair cutting, coloring, chemicals and styling services tailored to client preferences. Provide expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves and beard grooming. Apply color theory principles to achieve desired hair color results while maintaining salon sanitation standards. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients and handling retail product sales through upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations. Skills Proven expertise in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques. Experience with hair extensions a plus. Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations. Proficiency in store management tasks including retail sales, upselling, and inventory control. Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to perform barbering services such as straight razor shaves with precision. Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and retain clients. Basic retail math skills for effective upselling and sales tracking.
