The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients. Duties Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling services tailored to client preferences. Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive grooming. Utilize hair threading techniques to enhance client appearance and satisfaction. Apply makeup for special occasions or events when requested by clients. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients with color-related services. Offer hair extension services, ensuring proper application and maintenance techniques are followed. Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on best practices in barbering and customer service. Manage appointments using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software to ensure efficient service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to health and safety standards. Assist in store management tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the establishment. Skills Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong portfolio of work. Knowledgeable in cosmetology practices related to hair care and styling. Experience with nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is highly desirable. Strong understanding of color theory as it pertains to hair coloring services. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also mentoring others. Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar appointment management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods.
