• Customer service
• Color, highlights and balayage
• Cutting and razor cuts
• Preferably extension experience but we train Qualifications of the Hair Stylist
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a professional salon
• Preferably extension experience but we train
• Cosmetology license required Benefits/Compensation

Experience:

Hair coloring: 3 years (Preferred) Hair extensions: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location:

In person Duties Consult with clients to understand their hair color preferences and provide expert recommendations. Perform hair coloring services using various techniques such as balayage, highlights, and full color applications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with salon standards. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records using salon software. Promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, makeup application, and hair styling to enhance client experiences. Educate clients on proper hair care products and techniques for maintaining their color-treated hair. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair color and techniques through ongoing education and training. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Proven experience as a Hair Color Specialist or similar role in a salon environment. Strong knowledge of hair color products, techniques, and safety protocols. Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in retail sales is a plus; ability to perform retail math is beneficial. Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, makeup application, or front desk management are highly desirable.
