We offer leadership training and mentorship programs to support growing entrepreneurs. We are seeking a licensed, skilled, and passionate member to join our shop team. Quite a newly built shop, we are actively searching for barbers, braiders, and stylists. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional haircutting, styling, and grooming services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with our customers. You will be exposed to the highest level of premium, top-tier haircuts and service available in the state of Arizona. Team members will work alongside the owner who has 30 years of experience as a licensed barber and grew up sweeping the floor for older barbers at Shear Artistry Barbershop in Arizona at the age of 11.

• Personal clientele is preferred. The ability to retain clients, ensures that you provide the highest level of service to clients.
• Located behind Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and neighbors to Ta Carbon, we are near plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and businesses, making it convenient and easy to meet potential customers, eat, and/or shop while on break.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert haircutting and styling services to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques and tools, including straight razors.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients leave feeling satisfied with their experience.
• Work collaboratively with other stylists and barbers to maintain a cohesive and professional atmosphere.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering and cosmetology, ensuring that our shop remains cutting-edge and competitive.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in barbering and/or cosmetology.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
• Strong background in barbering.
• Familiarity with barbering and the importance of sanitation and safety in the barber shop environment.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in straight razor shaving and other barbering techniques.
• Experience mentoring and training when needed.
• Strong skills in cutting all textures of hair, from curly to straight.
• Knowledge of retail sales and the ability to effectively promote products and services when available.
• Certification in barbering or cosmetology and a strong understanding of the importance of sanitation and safety in the salon environment.
