Duties Deliver professional hair services such as cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and barbering to meet each client's unique preferences. Perform skincare treatments, and dermabrasion to enhance clients' natural beauty. Provide nail care services like manicures, pedicures, and nail art to ensure clients leave feeling polished. Conduct body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and other grooming services with precision and care. Educate clients on color theory to help select the best shades for their skin tone and personal style. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following state regulations and salon policies. Upsell retail products by understanding client needs through excellent communication skills and retail math knowledge to maximize sales opportunities. Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques such as esthetic laser treatments and advanced hair styling methods. Skills Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles including color theory, hair styling techniques, and skin care treatments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships. Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience with nail care services, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and body waxing. Ability to perform barbering services with precision and confidence. Familiarity with retail sales strategies and upselling techniques to enhance client experience and increase revenue. Knowledge of retail math for accurate product recommendations and transactions. Experience with dermabrasion procedures and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
