HIRING COSMETOLOGY INSTUCTOR

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to educate, mentor, and inspire future beauty professionals. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, professionalism, and creating a positive learning environment while ensuring compliance with California State Board and school requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach cosmetology theory and practical skills in accordance with the curriculum. Demonstrate professional cosmetology techniques, safety, and sanitation procedures. Monitor and evaluate student progress and performance. Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and practical demonstrations. Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records. Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students. Prepare students for California State Board licensing examinations. Ensure compliance with school policies, safety standards, and state regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom and clinic floor. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities. Assist with student retention and promote a positive educational experience. Support admissions, orientation, and school events as needed. Classroom management, reliable. Walking and standing, maintain a clean and sanitary clinic floor.

Qualifications:

Current California Cosmetology Instructor License. Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds. Professional appearance and demeanor. Basic computer skills and recordkeeping ability. Commitment to student success and educational excellence. Professional conduct with students.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to demonstrate cosmetology procedures and techniques. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed.
