Barber Instructor American Beauty College American Beauty College is currently seeking a motivated, organized, self-motivated , and experienced Barber Instructor to join our team! We are looking for someone who can lead by example, multitask in a fast-paced educational environment, and provide students with the knowledge and hands-on training necessary to succeed in the barbering industry. Friday AM Shift:

8:30 AM•5:00

PM PM Shift:

5:30 PM•10:30 PM Rotating Saturdays (1 Saturday per month) Position Overview In this role, the Barber Instructor will supervise educational operations and provide effective instruction in both classroom and clinic settings. Responsibilities include curriculum support, student supervision, State Board preparation, and ensuring compliance with BPPE, NACCAS, and Board of Barbering and Cosmetology standards. We are seeking someone who is dependable, professional, team-oriented, and able to take initiative while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students. Responsibilities Teach barbering theory and practical skills Supervise students during hands-on services and clinic floor operations Monitor student progress and provide coaching and feedback Prepare students for State Board examinations Maintain classroom organization and sanitation standards Enforce school policies and State Board regulations Maintain attendance, grades, and student records Develop lesson plans and instructional materials Participate in community events, meetings, and training sessions Support administrative and operational needs as necessary Qualifications Current Barber Instructor License preferred Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to multitask and adapt to varying responsibilities Passion for teaching and mentoring future professionals Familiarity with educational technology and office software Technology & Programs Used Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Google Docs Pivot Point LAB Microsoft Office Email and scheduling software POS systems and educational software Social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Skills We're Looking For Teaching and coaching abilities Time management and organization Professionalism and dependability Problem-solving and leadership Ability to motivate and guide students Strong communication and interpersonal skills About Us At American Beauty College, we strive to provide students with the knowledge and practical training needed to obtain their license and successfully apply their skills after graduation.
