Part-time, Saturday's preferred, 20-25 hours/week

Compensation:

$20-$23/hour plus tips & monthly bonus potential

Summary:

Hive Beauty Collective is SLO's first Eco-Friendly salon and we looking for Hairstylists/Cosmetologist to help us accommodate our ever-growing clientele. A steady clientele is NOT required, but your guest list would be more than welcomed. We will provide you with nearly everything you need to get to work, including: Guest Services, full color bar, client towels/drapes, laundry, back bar products, wet bar, food, beverages for guests, modern setting, marketing, booking software, mentorship, growth opportunities, and a safe place to work. You provide your skills, your tools for cutting/styling, and your professional, fun-loving self.

Duties & Experience:

Provide a wide range of hair and beauty services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments Educate clients on proper hair techniques Use salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation guidelines Proficient in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling Knowledge of salon software for appointment scheduling and client management Strong understanding of retail for product sales Ability to provide exceptional customer service and upsell salon services Skilled in mentoring and educating clients on proper hair techniques
