In this role, you will bring your passion for hair and beauty to life by delivering exceptional styling, coloring, and grooming services. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best while providing a welcoming and professional experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and more—empowering clients with confidence and style every day. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory principles. Provide expert consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products. Deliver specialized services like eyelash extensions, threading, makeup application, and nail care to enhance overall client satisfaction. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Operate salon software systems such as FRESHA for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Upsell retail products effectively by leveraging retail math skills and product knowledge to boost sales while meeting client needs. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments with professionalism. Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, and customer service excellence. Support store management in daily operations, inventory management, and achieving sales goals through excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse skills in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and grooming techniques. Familiarity with salon software systems like FRESHA is preferred; experience in retail sales and upselling is a plus. Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment. Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform additional beauty services such as makeup application, nail care, hair threading, and eyelash extensions is highly desirable. Previous store management or mentoring experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for learning and growth is essential.
