Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, and hair extensions using advanced techniques. Execute precise grooming services such as straight razor shaves and beard trims for male clients. Provide specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, and makeup application to enhance client beauty routines. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas according to health regulations. Offer expert advice on hair care products and retail items through effective upselling and retail math skills. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments with excellent communication skills. Mentor junior staff members and contribute to store management by supporting team collaboration and training initiatives. Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and retail offerings to ensure top-tier service delivery. Experience Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques. Skilled in hair coloring theory, application techniques, and the use of professional tools including straight razors. Experience performing hair extensions, eyelash extensions, threading and makeup application. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction. Prior experience mentoring team members or supporting store management functions is a plus.
