In this role, you'll deliver hair coloring and cutting services leaving clients feeling confident and refreshed. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in an inviting salon environment, providing personalized consultations and styling solutions. This position offers a chance to grow professionally while helping clients look and feel their best every day. We are a full service hair salon, with competitive commission pay as well as bonus opportunities. Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering expert advice on styles, color theory, and hair care options. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon regulations. Use salon software such as Phorest to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products to enhance the client experience. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling inquiries professionally. Skills Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting and coloring. Understanding color theory to create customized color solutions that complement each client's skin tone and style preferences. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear recommendations. Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff at all times. Capable of mentoring team members to develop their skills in hair styling and customer service.
