We are a small 4 chair salon that values a peaceful work environment and relaxing atmosphere for our clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist with an existing clientele to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for craft hairdressing, exceptional customer service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of current trends and techniques. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will provide expert hair cutting, coloring, and treatment services, contributing to the overall success of the salon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and leadership in a professional environment committed to excellence. Duties Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling. Utilize salon software such as Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable styles, colors, and treatments based on client preferences and hair type Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in a salon environment. Proof of continued education in the industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively. Prior experience mentoring or training junior staff is preferred but not required Valid cosmetology or hair styling license required.
