In this vibrant role, you'll bring your creativity and technical expertise to craft stunning hairstyles, provide expert hair and beauty treatments, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your energy, communication skills, and attention to sanitation will ensure clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and more while fostering a welcoming environment for every guest. These positions available for for booth renters only. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage or tape-in extensions. Provide additional beauty treatments such as makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction. Utilize salon software like square appointments for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations; sterilize tools and workstations regularly. Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable products or services for their needs. Engage in retail sales by upselling hair care products, styling tools, and cosmetics to boost revenue while educating clients on product benefits. Assist at the front desk with check-ins, appointment confirmations, and managing client flow to ensure a smooth salon experience. Mentor new team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative team environment. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current hair trends and styling techniques. Proven experience with hair extensions, color theory, eyelash extensions, and nail care preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Knowledge of sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe salon environment. Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
