Responsibilities Perform a wide range of cosmetology services including hair styling, coloring, cutting, and hair extensions to meet client preferences. Deliver specialized treatments such as esthetic laser therapy, dermabrasion, body waxing, and eyelash extensions with precision and care. Conduct nail care services like manicures, pedicures, and nail art to enhance clients' hands and feet. Apply color theory principles to create customized hair color solutions that complement each client's unique look. Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering professional advice, and upselling suitable products or additional services. Stay current with industry trends and techniques in barbering, hair threading, and other beauty treatments to deliver innovative results. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, hair styling techniques, and cosmetology best practices. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Proficiency in sanitation procedures to uphold health standards within the salon environment. Experience with nail care, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, and esthetic laser treatments is highly desirable. Ability to perform body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, and other specialized beauty services confidently. Retail sales skills including retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining a positive client experience.
