This position is ideal for a commission based stylist with a minimum of five years behind the chair who is looking to grow within a luxury salon environment that values education, professionalism, hospitality, and beautiful work. About Mystic Salon + Head Spa Mystic Salon + Head Spa is Connecticut's first luxury full service salon combined with a luxury head spa experience. Located in the heart of Mystic, our salon specializes in: Luxury hair color Dimensional blonding Gray coverage and blending Lived in color Precision cutting Luxury blowouts Japanese inspired head spa experiences Our space is calm, elevated, and intentionally designed to deliver an experience that feels different from traditional salons. Who We're Looking For You may be the right fit if you: Have a minimum of 5 years behind the chair Hold a current Connecticut cosmetology license Are confident performing color services, highlights, gray coverage, and haircuts independently Understand consultation skills and setting realistic expectations Have strong communication and guest retention skills Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service Thrive in a luxury, team oriented environment Value continuing education and professional growth Have a positive attitude and solution focused mindset Understand that hospitality is just as important as technical skill Responsibilities Provide exceptional hair color, cutting, styling, and finishing services Conduct thorough consultations and recommend appropriate services Deliver an elevated luxury guest experience from start to finish Recommend professional products and home care solutions Maintain station cleanliness and professional presentation standards Participate in ongoing education and team training Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon culture Uphold the standards and reputation of Mystic Salon + Head Spa Preferred Qualifications Experience with blonding, balayage, dimensional color, and gray coverage Existing clientele is welcomed but not required Retail sales experience Social media confidence is a plus Experience with luxury brands such as Oribe, L'Oréal Professionnel, Redken, Kerastase, or similar professional lines is beneficial What We Offer Competitive commission structure Luxury salon environment Ongoing advanced education Access to luxury brands including Oribe and L'Oréal Professionnel Marketing and guest acquisition support Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunity to grow with one of Connecticut's most unique luxury salon concepts Employee discounts on services and retail Schedule Part time or full time opportunities available.
