Duties Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, highlights, balayage, and special occasion styles. Expertly apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance clients' natural beauty. Utilize knowledge of color theory to create customized color treatments that complement each client's skin tone and style preferences. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a hygienic environment at all times. Assist clients with retail sales of hair care products, makeup, nail care items, and styling tools through effective upselling techniques. Operate salon management software such as Meevo2 for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail tracking. Support front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries with excellent communication skills. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere through sharing expertise in barbering, store management, and customer service excellence. Experience Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques. With a solid book highly preferred. Skilled in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and advanced treatments such as hair threading and store management. Familiarity with salon software systems like Meevo2 for booking and client management. Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to upsell retail products confidently. Previous mentoring or leadership experience within a salon setting is a plus; willingness to learn new skills like straight razor shaving or advanced color theory is encouraged.
