We need an assistant who is experienced with proper shampoo techniques, laundry, keeping hairdresser's stations clean between appointments, common sense and customer service oriented.

MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

with SHAMPOOING, pulling FOILS and properly shampooing foils and color so they do not bleed into each other, APPLYING

TONER, ETC. MUST BE PROFICIENT IN

THESE and other assisting areas. We can teach you our products and our systems, but we do not have the time to teach you how to shampoo out color properly, or give a great scalp massage, so please only apply if you are good at this skill. Our ambiance is relaxing, upscale luxury hair salon. We perform all hair services including all methods of hair extensions, color, highlights, keratins, and non-surgical hair replacement systems for women & men. We require punctuality- if you are a person who calls in sick or is late- this job is not for you. Stated compensation is commensurate with how many years of experience.

Responsibilities:

Shampoo out color and highlight clients, apply luxury hair treatments, masks, pull foils, assist in hair extension removal spa, applying toners and glosses, etc. Prepare aromatherapy wraps & hot towels. Maintain all supplies ready for use, including various sizes of foils. Assist in prepping and organizing hair extensions for application Prepare, sweep and clean hair stylist stations and chairs in between clients. Sanitizing tools. Laundry is a constant all day task. Bathroom and staff break room cleaning, etc. We are a very clean salon and expect our assistants to be neat, clean, and organized. Greet guests in a friendly professional manner Bring robes & coffee/tea/water and magazines to clients. Prep clients for color services. Being able to work at a fast pace and still keep the calm and serenity of our relaxing salon. RELIABLE and energetic. Punctuality is a must. Well groomed & appropriately dressed for an upscale salon. Closed toe shoes. That means hair & make-up looking good every day. Note that this is a physically demanding position. Friendly and coachable attitude.
