In this energetic role, you will support stylists by maintaining a welcoming environment, assisting with client services, and ensuring the salon runs smoothly. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar systems Prepare styling stations, tools, and products for appointments, including hair extensions, etc Social Media, nothing crazy, posting on timeline and stories, have fun with it Support stylists with hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair styling techniques based on client requests and stylist preferences Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to health regulations Assist with retail sales Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, answering inquiries, and handling payments efficiently Mentor new team members when needed and contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication skills Requirements Valid cosmetology or enrolled in school Knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols Strong communication skills Ability to provide excellent customer service Enthusiasm to learn new skills Ability to perform hair styling tasks such as shampooing, basic color application, blow outs, etc. We will fine tune those skills together.
