In this role, you will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional barbering experiences by bringing your expertise in cuts, shaves, and grooming. You'll showcase your craft in a vibrant, community-focused environment where precision meets artistry. Your ability to build a loyal clientele and maintain the highest standards of service will be essential to success. Responsibilities Execute precision barbering services including fades, line-ups, tapers, classic cuts, and straight razor shaves. Long haircut experience also welcome. We are a busy established full barbershop providing haircuts for the whole family. From fades for dad and the boys, to layers for mom and the girls. Provide personalized consultations with clients to understand their grooming goals and recommend services that match their needs Deliver exceptional customer service that fosters trust and encourages client loyalty and referrals Maintain meticulous sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe, professional environment for all clients Build and manage client base through professionalism, skill, and word-of-mouth marketing Assist fellow crew members when needed, including greeting clients, sweeping hair and folding towels. Contribute to the shop's cleanliness and maintain organization of tools and workspace Uphold Bottima's reputation for craft, service, and community connection in all client interactions Requirements Valid Florida Barber/cosmetology License - Must be licensed and in good standing to cut hair in the state of Florida Proven experience performing barbering services with precision and attention to detail Strong understanding of sanitation and safety protocols in a barbering environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clientele Professional demeanor and commitment to continuous improvement of your craft Ability to thrive in a commission-based, independent contractor model A passion for the barbering profession and a client-first approach to service About Bottima Located at 815 NE 13th Street, Fort Lauderdale, our mission is simple: Where the blade meets craft.
