This is a chair rental position ($900/month) - not hourly and not commission. Ideal for experienced hairstylists with an existing clientele who want to operate independently and grow their business in a high-traffic, professional salon environment. Responsibilities
Skills:
Provide hair services to your own clients (cuts, color, styling, etc.)- Manage your own schedule, bookings, and client communication
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
- Deliver a high level of customer service
- Follow salon cleanliness and professional standards Proficiency in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and advanced styling methods Strong knowledge of salon software systems like
MINDBODY
for efficient appointment management Expertise in sanitation practices and maintaining a clean work environment Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration Ability to perform barbering services including straight razor shaves when required Experience with retail sales, upselling strategies, and retail math calculations Skilled in nail care, makeup application, and hair styling for diverse client needs Knowledge of store management principles and front desk responsibilities for seamless operations Skills- Valid cosmetology license preferred
