Responsibilities Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and creativity. Deliver expert eyelash extensions and makeup applications to enhance clients' natural beauty. Utilize salon software such as glossgenius for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by following all health regulations and sanitation protocols to ensure client safety. Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments or products. Upsell retail products effectively through retail math skills and upselling techniques to boost sales and client satisfaction. Mentor junior stylists and apprentices by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and other beauty services. Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and managing the store's daily operations. Stay current on industry trends such as color theory, nail care, makeup application, and new styling techniques to deliver innovative services. Foster a welcoming environment through excellent communication skills and attentive customer service that encourages repeat business. Qualifications Valid state cosmetology license with experience in cosmetology or barbering; additional certifications in nail care or makeup are a plus. Proven expertise in hair extensions, straight razor shaving, eyelash extensions, and hair threading. Strong knowledge of salon software systems like
