Overview Currently looking for WEEKEND stylists only. Join our team at a whole family unisex beauty business with over 30 years of service to the local community! As a cosmetologist, your hairstyling skills and exceptional customer service will shine! In this vibrant role, you will be the go-to expert for creating distinct looks, providing personalized consultations, and elevating the client experience. Your expertise will help clients feel confident and fashionable while you showcase your skills and techniques. We are committed to fostering a lively, supportive environment that encourages growth, creativity, and professional excellence. Duties Deliver exceptional cosmetology services to meet each client's unique vision. Create your own menu and prices of services that you want to offer. Manage shop operations efficiently using GlossGenius for scheduling appointments, and recording client information. Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients' needs, offering professional advice on hair care and building client trust. Maintain shop cleanliness and sanitation standards rigorously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff alike. Collaborate with other stylists about techniques, advanced skills, and store management best practices to foster a collaborative atmosphere. Assist with greeting clients, and managing appointments using our schedule. Qualifications Proven experience as a stylist with proficiency in standard haircutting techniques and offered advanced haircare treatments at your own comfort level. Knowledge of software systems like GlossGenius for appointment management is preferred but not required. Solid understanding of sanitation protocols to uphold health standards within the salon environment. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide tailored recommendations. Retail product sales are available if desired but not required by stylist/barbers Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations; additional certifications are a plus.
