Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, grooming services, and styling while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for all clients. Duties Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, straight razor shaves, and beard trims. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction with services rendered. Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales. Assist in front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Mentor junior barbers or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in barbering techniques. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming to provide clients with modern looks. Requirements Valid barbering license as required by state regulations. Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling, with a strong portfolio of work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong retail sales skills, including experience in upselling products and services. Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with mentoring or training junior staff is preferred but not mandatory. A passion for the beauty industry and staying current with trends in barbering and hairstyling.
