Hairstylist - Senior Living Community (Part-Time, 1099) Polished & Curled Salon Miami, FL Job Details Part-time $50 - $85 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Cosmetology License In-person customer service Salon experience Working with seniors Older adults Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Hairstylist to join our salon team serving residents in a beautiful senior living community. This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) position working Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. What We Offer Weekly pay 50/50 commission split An automatic 20% gratuity is added to every service, and 100% of gratuities are paid directly to the hairstylist Established salon located inside a senior living community Friendly, supportive work environment Consistent two-day schedule Qualifications Current Florida Cosmetology License Previous salon experience required Experience working in a senior living community is a strong plus Dependable, punctual, and professional Friendly, compassionate, and patient with older adults Excellent customer service skills Self-motivated and organized Responsibilities Provide professional hair services including haircuts, shampoo and styles, roller sets, blowouts, and color services Manage your own appointment schedule Complete all required daily paperwork accurately and on time Rebook residents for future appointments Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming salon experience If you enjoy helping seniors look and feel their best and are looking for a rewarding opportunity with a consistent schedule, we'd love to hear from you!
