My name is Queen, and I am the owner of C4Q Extensions & Salon. We are a luxury hair extension collection and full-service salon dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences. We are looking for a motivated, Salon Assistant who is eager to grow within the beauty industry and eventually transition into a Junior Stylist role. Position Overview This is a full-time position for someone who is passionate about hair, professional, dependable, and ready to learn. You will work closely with senior stylists, assist with client services, and help maintain a clean, luxury salon environment. Responsibilities Shampoo and condition clients of all hair textures Perform braid-downs for sew-ins, wigs, and protective styles Assist with hair color applications and color preparation Help prepare clients before services Blow-dry and detangle hair as directed Assist with extension installations and removals Sanitize tools and maintain workstation cleanliness Prepare styling stations between clients Ensure towels, products, and supplies are stocked Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience Run occasional salon-related errands when needed Requirements Active Cosmetology License (required) Experience braiding hair (short and long lengths) Knowledge of shampooing and caring for all hair textures Basic understanding of hair coloring and chemical services Reliable transportation Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Availability for early morning appointments (as early as 8:00 AM) Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment Growth Opportunity This position is designed for career growth.
