Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary Cuts, styles and colors hairy1 Part-Time Job Description Full service hair stylist and a part-time hair stylist needed to work with a great group of stylists in an established hair salon with a strong clientele base in Odessa . We are looking for hair stylist(s) that is able to work up to 18 hours/week part-time to join our team that can perform the following: General Accountabilities Washes, shampoos, conditions and rinses hairEvaluate clients' hair and physical characteristics to recommend appropriate hair styleCuts, trims, and styles hair using professional equipment (clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors)Highlights or colors hair based on instructions provided by clientMaintains clean work stationSanitizes tools and equipment, such as scissors and combs, after each useAnswers phone and schedules client appointmentsReceives payments from customersActively seeks to learn new styles and techniques Stylist Skills Work experience as a hair stylist, colorist and hairdresserKnowledge of a wide range of haircuts suitable for all hair lengths, genders and agesHands-on experience with various coloring techniquesFamiliar with hair treatment productsExcellent verbal and written communicationService orientationTime managementActive listening

Job Qualifications Education:
Successful completion of cosmetology curriculum.Experience:
