Duties Deliver engaging classroom instruction on cosmetology topics including hair styling, coloring, nail care, esthetic treatments, barbering, and aesthetic procedures. Develop and implement detailed lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and industry best practices. Demonstrate practical skills such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facials, body waxing, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and laser treatments to enhance student learning. Evaluate student progress through assessments, practical demonstrations, and feedback sessions to ensure mastery of skills. Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques such as trigger point therapy, hair threading, makeup application, and advanced esthetic treatments into lessons. Support students in preparing for licensing exams and professional certifications by providing targeted instruction and mentorship. Skills Proven classroom experience with a strong background in cosmetology education. Expertise in a broad range of cosmetology disciplines including hair coloring, styling, barbering, nail care, facials, makeup application, and aesthetic treatments. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and trigger point therapy. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored for adult learners in an educational setting. Hands-on experience with advanced techniques such as laser treatments, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and body waxing. Strong communication skills to effectively teach complex concepts clearly and confidently. Passion for mentoring students and fostering their professional growth through constructive feedback.
