Booth rent or commission with clientele The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hairstyling techniques and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional services to our clients. This role involves not only styling hair but also offering additional beauty services, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to a positive salon environment. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling. Perform additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, makeup application, and hair threading. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in hairstyling and beauty treatments. Utilize salon software (such as
MINDBODY
) for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the salon space. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations. Handle front desk duties as needed, including greeting clients and managing payments. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment. Proficiency in various hairstyling techniques and beauty treatments. Familiarity with salon software systems; experience with
MINDBODY
is a plus. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
