Job Description

About This Opportunity We are looking for a licensed, friendly, and reliable Hairdresser to operate our on-site salon and serve the residents of our community. This is an independent contractor opportunity — you set your own hours, build your own client base, and run your salon your way. We provide the space and the residents. You bring the talent. What the Community Provides Dedicated salon space within the community Shampoo sink and stationary hair dryer Water and electricity Clean towels Cleaning of the salon space What You Keep & How You Earn You retain 90% of all gross billings The community retains 10% of gross billings Residents pay for services from their personal resident funds You submit signed receipts to the Business Office for resident fund reimbursement Reimbursements are processed weekly — no long waits Your Responsibilities Set your own hours of operation and manage your own schedule (Ideal hours of operation range between 10am-4pm) Schedule and confirm appointments with residents directly Supply your own professional tools, products, and supplies Maintain your own business records and documentation Submit signed receipts to the Business Office for each service rendered Provide courteous, patient, and professional service to elderly residents Maintain a clean and safe salon environment during your hours Requirements Current, valid cosmetology or hairdresser license in the state of practice Experience working with elderly clients preferred — patience and compassion are a must Professional, reliable, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Liability insurance preferred Why This Works for You No booth rent — the community takes only 10% of what you bill Built-in clientele — residents who need and want regular hair services Flexible schedule — you work when it works for you Low overhead — space, utilities, and towels are provided Weekly reimbursements — fast, simple, and consistent To Apply Contact us to schedule a tour of the salon space and discuss the opportunity.
