Hair Stylist

Responsibilities Deliver a hair services including cutting, styling, and waxing. Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles based on hair type and face shape. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring all salon hygiene protocols are followed. Operate salon software systems like SQUARE for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Assist clients with retail product recommendations and upselling opportunities to enhance their salon experience. Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments efficiently. Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and teamwork within the salon environment. Support store management in daily operations and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in hair threading or makeup application are a plus. Proven experience in professional cutting and hair styling , along with retail sales. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and articulate style recommendations clearly. Prior store management or mentoring experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
