This role involves creating stylish haircuts, coloring, and treatments, as well as providing expert advice on hair care and retail products. to schedule appointments and manage client records efficiently. Responsibilities Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments in accordance with client preferences and current trends. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, adhering to health regulations. Use salon software like HAIRMAX for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable hairstyles, colors, and hair care products based on individual needs. Assist with retail sales by upselling products such as hair care items, styling tools, and accessories. Stay updated on the latest industry trends in hair styling, color theory, barbering techniques including straight razor shaves, and nail care services. Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and color application. Knowledge of salon software systems like HAIRMAX for scheduling and retail management, we offer training as well. Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products effectively. Experience in store management or front desk operations is desirable but not required.
